VEHICLE IN POND SOUTH OF NOW ARENA PARKING LOT NEAR I-90, HOFFMAN ESTATES

5:00 PM (WED MAR 11 2026) ... Hoffman Estates firefighters and paramedics (and mutual aid) working at the scene of a water rescue/vehicle in water at 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway Hoffman Estates. Report of a vehicle in the water south of NOW Arena, in a pond just north of I-90.

Eyewitness reports three ambulances on the scene. Everyone out of the water by 5:09 PM. EMS working a cardiac arrest at the scene. Unknown how many were in the water. Additional prolonged search by divers until about 6:00 PM, apparently as a precaution. No additional victims brought out of the water.

Eyewitness reports Rolling Meadows S15 on scene, Schaumburg S55 and S55A on scene, Streamwood Dive 31 on scene, and Des Plaines and other FD also on scene.

Incident does not appear to be related to Interstate 90.
