2:40 AM ...  Rochelle Fire, Stillman Valley Fire Protection District and Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Protection District and mutual aid firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a wrong-way head-on crash on southbound Interstate 39 under Route 64 in Lynnville Township. The crash was directly under the overpass.  Head-on multi-vehicle crash with injuries. Possible multiple ejections and entrapment in the southbound lanes at MM 104. Ogle County Sheriff's deputies advise extrication will be needed. Crew on arrival reports possibly four vehicles involved. Initially, four injured victims discovered. Mercyhealth REACT helicopter medical transport assigned to the scene.  Southbound I-39 shut down at Route 72. Crash also reported on Waze.
