Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a crash with extrication at Barrington Rd and Ridgeview Drive Inverness. Report of a crash into a ditch and trees. Hoffman Estates firefighters and paramedics also assigned to the scene. Two or three EMS patients. Prolonged extrication exceeding one hour for one of the patients. Patient extricated by about 3:40 PM to 3:45 PM. LifeNet medical helicopter assigned to the scene. Last patient out of the vehicle transported by LifeNet helicopter to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Crash also reported on Waze by two Wazers. Barrington Road closed in both directions between Algonquin Road (Route 62) and Palatine Road.
