10:10 AM ... Streamwood firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of an EMS standby for a barricaded subject in the block of Westgate Terrace west of East Ave Streamwood. NIPAS/Police Standby (fire department standby) for a barricaded subject at the request of the police. NIPAS (SWAT) responded about 9:50 AM. The incident occurred in a neighborhood of single-family homes. Streamwood firefighters were also called to the scene at about 11:53 AM at the request of the police to check on an odor of natural gas at a property in the block of 500 Westgate Terrace.
