MAJOR NATURAL GAS LEAK ON ROOSEVELT STREET IN DES PLAINES MOBILE HOME PARK ELK GROVE TOWNSHIP

1:10 PM ... Mount Prospect firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a natural gas leak at 313 Roosevelt Street Elk Grove Township. Report of a possible major natural gas leak after a commercial line was hit. Gas is smelled and heard, and the pavement is buckling because of pressure from the leak.

The scene is located in the north side of the Des Plaines Mobile Home Park.

The scene is also located just northwest of O'Hare International Airport, just south of Interstate 90 east of Elmhurst Road and south of Higgins Creek.
