6:25 PM ... Arlington Heights firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a crash with injuries at Oakton St and Ridge Ave Arlington Heights. Report of a crash on Ridge Avenue just north of Oakton Street involving a black minivan and a purple SUV. The black minivan careened off the road after vehicle impact and severely damage a ground-mounted cable TV/data box next to a utility pole on the northwest corner of Ridge Avenue and Oakton Street in Arlington Heights.

Ridge Avenue was closed between Oakton Street and Thomas Street during rescue, recovery and investigation/records collection.
