LIVE POWER LINE ARCING AND BURNING AT SEE-GWUN AVENUE JUST NORTH OF GOLF RD MOUNT PROSPECT

8:13 AM ... Mount Prospect firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a live line arcing and burning at 920 See-Gwun Avenue Mount Prospect. Report of a shed on fire, but E11 reports the shed is not on fire, but there is an active power line arcing and burning. ComEd requested to expedite to the scene.

The power line problem is located in a backyard on See-Gwun Avenue just north of Golf Road.

Traffic delays in both directions on Golf Road.

This is located in an area that was hit hard by a severe thunderstorm with multiple power lines down, trees down and large branches. Special equipment has been used this week for difficult tree removals in tight spaces.
