2:47 PM ... Waukegan firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a boat explosion near Greenwood and Pershing Waukegan. Report of a boat explosion behind the power plant (electric substation) on Lake Michigan near the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Pershing Road. Two burn victims being transferred to Waukegan Harbor, 200 Sea Horse. Two medical helicopters requested, but medical helicopters are grounded due to weather. US Coast Guard also en route. A crew on a passerby boat is helping out as Good Samaritans.
