12:43 AM ... Gurnee firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a house fire at 17863 W Winnebago Dr Grayslake. Report of a house fire with a male adult unable to get out of the house. Lake County Sheriff's Deputies report the smoke is too thick to enter the home.

Crew on arrival reports heavy smoke, gray in color filling the front yard and possibly coming from the eave of a roof of single-story home -- leading out with a line.

Crew on arrival reports going interior by 12:50 AM. Interior crew reports they had to back out 12:54 AM; fire appears to be in the C-D corner (rear, right side)

Firefighters report a knock on the fire and a removal of one victim about 1:02 AM.
