8:48 AM ... Libertyville firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a vehicle fire at 13783 West Oasis Service Rd Mettawa. Report of a truck tractor fire with trailer still attached on the I-94 WEST (northbound) side of the Oasis. Witness observed explosion. Libertyville BC46 and E462 assigned. Lake Forest E422 mutual aid. Crew on arrival reports a fully-involved vehicle fire in the northbound lanes just north of the Lake Forest Oasis Travel Plaza. Semi-truck tractor on fire at the bottom of the ramp from the Oasis to I-94 WEST on the right shoulder. No hazmat; carrying food product.

BC46 reports fire out by 9:02 AM.
