PEDESTRIAN HIT, KILLED AT WEST BELVIDERE RD AND STABEN AVE PARK CITY

6:48 PM ... Waukegan and Gurnee firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a crash with injuries at 3249 West Belvidere Rd Park City. Report of pedestrian hit by a vehicle with CPR in progress for an unresponsive victim.

Second ambulance assigned at 6:51 PM based on the report that CPR was in progress. A witness reported that a white sheet was placed over the victim.

A rear-end crash occurred in front of a Gurnee fire/EMS crew at Route 21 and Manchester Drive while the crew was en route to help the pedestrian victim. The drivers pulled off on Manchester Drive.

Vehicle vs Pedestrian location was updated by fire command to Route 120 and Staben Avenue. The initial call was to Waukegan Fire Department with an address of the Burger King at 3140 Belvidere Road.

Belvidere Road is closed for an investigation between Knight Avenue and Dromey Street.
