Arlington Heights Firefighters Respond to Help Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Rand Rd Near Chestnut Ave Arlington Heights
A Palatine woman died early Sunday after she was struck by a vehicle on Rand Road near the Stonebridge of Arlington Heights apartment complex Saturday evening. Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 6:13 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 to a report that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Arlington Heights Road and Chestnut Avenue in Arlington Heights.
Laura Farinosi, age 42, of Palatine was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and was pronounced dead about seven hours later at 1:18 a.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiners Office.
