5:47 PM ... Skokie firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a vehicle vs pedestrian incident at 3443 Touhy Ave Lincolnwood. Initially an incorrect report that a person was shot near Bank Financial; but a person instead was reported struck by a vehicle. However, police were investigating a report of a person with a gun, and had a person in custody. A person was transported in custody to the police station (7300 Niles Center), and an ambulance was assigned to stand by at the police station in case paramedics were needed. Information about the condition of a person reported struck by a vehicle was unknown.
