3:56 AM ... Crystal Lake Fire Department firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a mass shooting in the block of 5800 Wild Plum Road Crystal Lake in the Prairie Ridge neighborhood. Report from a caller that four victims were shot with the shooter still on scene in a residential neighborhood. McHenry County Sheriff's deputies secured the house for paramedics to move up to victims by 4:24 AM. Report of one self-inflicted gunshot male victim also at the scene. Total number of victims not confirmed. One self-inflicted gunshot male victim deceased, and one injured female confirmed.
