9:13 PM (THU AUG 18 2022) ... Chicago police worked at the scene of a shooting in the block of 7100 South Bennett Chicago. Report of two adult males that got to the hospital on their own after they were shot by an unknown offender traveling in a black sedan in a mixed commercial and residential area. Male, age 23, shot in the face and abdomen at University of Chicago Hospital, listed Critical Condition. Male, age 24, shot in the abdomen, listed in Fair Condition. Area One Detectives investigating; initially no suspects in custody.
