2:33 PM ... Buffalo Grove firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a personal injury vehicle vs pedestrian incident at Arlington Heights Road and Auburn Lane Buffalo Grove. Report of a person with their legs trapped under a semi-trailer truck in the northbound lanes of Arlington Heights Road. Northbound Arlington Heights Road shut down by police at 2:38 PM.

Change of quarters crews were assigned to fill Buffalo Grove fire stations, but a Change of Quarters Box Alarm was not activated. Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Squad 51 and Long Grove Squad 55 were assigned to the scene for mutual aid by about 2:55 PM, but the patient was extricated by 3:01 PM.
