MAN SHOT ON SOUTH EMERALD AVENUE NEAR 94TH STREET CHICAGO

4:45 AM ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a shooting in the block of 9400 South Emerald Avenue Chicago. Report of a male adult shot by an unknown offender in a neighborhood of single-family homes. A male offender shot from the rear of a white sedan, which continued southbound on Emerald Avenue. A male, age 43, with a gunshot wound to the cheek transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, listed in Fair Condition. CPD Area Two Detectives investigating. No suspects in custody.
