4:27 PM (MON AUG 22 2022) ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a shooting in the block of 1500 East 63rd Street Chicago. Report of a male teen and a female adult shot on the street when the driver of a dark-colored vehicle approached and an unknown offender in the vehicle fire shots in a neighborhood of commercial, retail, and apartment buildings.

A male, age 17, with a gunshot wound to the left leg transported to Level 1 Trauma Center University of Chicago Hospital, listed in Good Condition.

A female, age 35, with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center University of Chicago Hospital, listed in Critical Condition.

CPD Area One Detectives investigating. Initially no suspect(s) in custody reported.
