3:57 AM ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a commercial building fire at 3401 North California Avenue Chicago. E106 reports smoke coming from a door at 1-story, 150 x 50 commercial building a door and requests a working fire response. BC10 reports a 1-story ordinary commercial, 200 x 150 with sprinklers activated and with one line led out and an aerial to the roof. BC10 reports at 4:11 AM that a dumpster was burning inside the building, and that most of the smoke was confined to a 20 x 20 room. Firefighters pulled the dumpster out of the building, and are working on ventilation. Primary and secondary searches negative and complete. Dimension change: BC10 reports 250x150, first 100 feet is 2-story and remainder of building where the fire was located was a 1-story building -- all one building.
