CCL HOLDER RETURNS FIRE, STRIKES SHOOTER ON WEST CRYSTAL STREET NEAR PINE AVE CHICAGO

1:27 AM (MON AUG 22 2022) ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a shooting in the block of 5500 West Crystal Street Chicago. Report of a male adult offender shot by a victim with a CCL who returned gunfire after he was approached while sitting in his car in a neighborhood of single-family homes and apartments. A male suspect, age unknown, with a gunshot wound to the upper chest transported to Loyola University Medical Center, listed in Critical Condition. CPD Area Five Detectives investigating. The victim, age 45, was not injured.
