3:21 PM ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a fire in the block of 200 West 112th Street. T27 on arrival reports smoke showing. BC22 reports a 1 1/2-story frame 25x50 with E62 leading out, aerial going up, 20-foot ground ladder Side A to second floor, and report that "everyone" (residents are) out of building by 3:24 PM. Mayday after a flashover at 3:25 PM. Still and Box, EMS Plan 1 with the MAYDAY Alert at 3:28 PM. BC21, E76, T62 RIT.

PAR complete; going defensive by 3:29 PM. Five CFD members transported, and a sixth was initially being evaluated for possible transport. Transports to Advocate Christ Medical Center (A5, A72, A76) and Little Company of Mary Medical Center (A29, A37, A17 evaluating). FC459 reported 6 transports. Assistant Deputy Chief Paramedic: EMS Field Division South 4-4-12 reported a total of 7 transports. Four other ambulances also assigned; total 10 ambulances on scene. Initially reported by CFD Media as non-life-threatening injuries.
