BIKERS DOWN IN SERIOUS MOTORCYCLE CRASH NEAR VIRGINIA RD AND PINGREE RD LAKE IN THE HILLS
10:52 AM ... Algonquin-Lake in the Hills firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a crash involving several bikers at Pingree Road and Virginia Road. Report of three bikers down and two unresponsive with one bystander CPR in progress. BC1 on arrival by 10:58 a.m. reported multiple bikes down with CPR in progress. Standby medical helicopter was canceled with ground transportation chosen for all victims.
The crash occurred on Virginia Road at or just northwest of Pingree Road. Virginia Road was shut down between Rakow Road and Trinity Drive. Pingree Road south of Rakow Road was also shut down.
