6:11 AM ... Chicago firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a house fire in the block of 5300 South Lowe Avenue Chicago. E50 on arrival reports they have a fire in a 1 1/2-story frame with a fire in the attic and the rear. BC6 report a 1 1/2-story frame, 25x50 with a fire in the attic, E50 leading out, T18 aerial to the roof, primary search underway, and a positive source of water by 6:22 AM. BC6 reports fire out at 6:25 AM and checking for hot spots by 6:29 AM. Final search complete and negative. No injuries initially reported.
