CRASH WITH INJURIES AT WHEELING ROAD AND PALATINE ROAD WHEELING

Wheeling Road and Palatine Road Wheeling, IL
Report of a crash with injuries. Incident initially thought to involve a hit-and-run driver. Possibly both drivers located by 7:57 p.m. A Mercedes C3 stopped in westbound lanes of Palatine Road east of Wheeling Road. The driver that was initially thought to have left the scene pulled into Muriel Court, off of Wheeling Road just north of Palatine Road. Police are investigating. Second ambulance and engine called to the scene on Muriel Court by 8:01 p.m. Third ambulance called to the scene by 8:02 p.m.-- Prospect Height assigned.
