Report of an apartment fire on Carrol Ave west of Kedzie Ave. E44 on arrival reports a fire on the second floor. BC18 reports a 2-story ordinary, 25x40, with a fire on the first and second floors -- E44 with a line on the first floor, and E95 with a line on the second by 1:07 p.m. BC18 requests a Still and Box by 1:13 p.m. -- reporting heavy fire, including the cockloft.
Main body of fire knocked; primary and secondary search complete and negative. Exposure building 3249.
