Report of an auto on fire on the fifth floor of an interior parking garage in a residential 10-story, 200x300 fire-resistive building. E5 on arrival reports nothing showing. Fire extinguished by an activated sprinkler system. Mobile Ventilation Unit 9-2-2 assigned at 9:23 AM. Still and Box Alarm and EMS Plan 1 activated at about 9:26 AM. Firefighters checking for smoke extension that may have entered residential area -- initially smoke appears to be contained to parking garage. Some smoke on the main floor; no smoke in residential areas (early report). Firefighters connected to sprinkler system and charged the system.
