Report of an apartment fire. A55 first on scene reported a fire on the second floor of a 3-story apartment building. Code 4 working fire by 11:51 a.m. Long Grove command reports a kitchen fire that was controlled somewhat by two dry chem extinguishers. Extinguishing the remaining fire with a hoseline by 11:49 a.m. One adult and one child evaluated by firefighter/paramedics. Fire declared out by 12:27 p.m. Primary and secondary search complete and negative by 12:27 p.m.
